anything beautiful. This can mean everything from flowers to a baby animal to a smile.
Horses, particularly Curly horses, particularly my three- Sunny, Koko, and Smokey.
Reading and learning anything new.
Good authors: Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, Randy Alcorn, Karen Kingsbury, Shakespeare, and Philip Yancey are but a few. Also, the lady who writes the Mrs. Pollifax mystery stories, I cannot think of her name now. An eclectic mix to be sure, but that is how my reading is.
bargain shopping. This means I can often be found in a thrift store, consignment shop, antique mall, or used book store. I can list on one hand the outfits I have that were bought new, and I am ridiculously proud of this fact!!
The country of Peru. I left part of my heart there in the summer of 2007 after the Brio missions trip to Lima, even though my Spanish is still, shall I say, lacking.
not "things", but people- Yessenia, the girl we sponsor in Peru through Compassion International, and Ivy, a girl we sponsor through an orphanage in Kenya. They're my little sisters!
Music! If I'm not with horses, a book, friends/family, or shopping with $5, I'm probably listening to music (every genre) or playing the piano.
I'm going to have to think on that one . . .
